However, the Sheffield Wednesday player Nejc Pecnik pulled one goal back soon after the interval to give Slovenia some hope in the match. He then scored his second goal of the night on either side of the goal from Ibraimi. Even though there was more than 20 min for Slovenia to try and score the equaliser, it was not enough from them. Hence, they managed to lose yet another match, as pressure mounted on the manager.
